Vaporex Dehumidifiers are manufactured by Calorex in the UK, these are efficient and economical dehumidifiers for condensation control for indoor swimming pools and spas. Condensation if left unchallenged can be a major problem for indoor swimming pool or spa. Water evaporating from the swimming pool surface pushes up humidity; it can eventually lead to mould or structural damage or collapse.

Latest technology has moved quite dramatically compared to the conventional approach which was wasteful air extraction from the pool room. Vaporex dehumidifiers minimise the need of costly air extraction, operating on a heat pump principle. This is done by removing the moisture content and delivering warm air back to the pool room, by working in this fashion they maintain a comfortable humidity, minimise condensation and keep heating costs at the lowest possible level

Automatic Control, Assured Comfort – All Vapourex dehumidifiers come complete with a variable humidistat that automatically controls the working process of the unit. This is approximately between 60% and 65%, this is recommended to ensure a comfortable environment and control of condensation for the pool users providing the swimming pool building is insulated to current building regulation standards.

Energy Saving and Cost Effective – The Vapourex Dehumidifier not reduces your heating cost by recycling air, the Vapourex heat pump system works on an efficient 3:1 Heat / electrical ratio, diverting energy back to the swimming pool room.

Easy Install and Flexible Operation – The Vapourex Dehumidifier are very installer friendly due to the options of installing at a high or low level, through the wall or wall mounted. These options make Vapourex Dehumidifiers very versatile in its application

Low Temperature Operation – Any Indoor swimming building requires protection when not in use and economy reasons, the air temperature might be lowered when unoccupied for long periods. If the pool room air temperature drops below 17°C it is strongly advisable to use defrost version which will operate down to an air temperature of 0°C

  • LPHW = Low Pressure Hot Water
  • Humidistat adjustable from 20% to 80% RH.
  • Minimum air temperature on standard models is 15° C, the defrost models will operate down to 0°
  • Fuses Should be Motor Rated
  • Through the wall models are supplied with inlet and outlet grilles. (C/W Sleeves)
  • These Performance Figures are based on air at 30°C and 60% RH and pool water at 28°C with boiler water at 80°C
  • All Vapourex Dehumidifiers are covered by a full two year parts and labour warranty
  • Standard – Heat recovery to pool hall air. Minimum operating air temperature 17°C
