DPL Heat pumps have been in the UK for a number of years with proven reliability. This is so important because when you are looking for a heat pump you will see so many brands available, so many that it can become confusing. Some are recognised brands, others are own brands with little or no track record. Although the return in investment is significant, there is a high capital outlay on this type of swimming pool heater so it is essential you buy the right type of heat pump for your pool. DPL heat pumps are competitively priced but also offer a brand name and proven reliability.

DPL RA Heat Pumps have another advantage over other models as they can be housed indoors or Outdoors. If you install the RA indoors there is a ducting kit upgrade that is available.

DPL Heat Pumps are manufactured high standard and come with a 1 year warranty parts and labour, and 3 years parts Warranty. DPL specialises in Heat Pump swimming pool heating and is already a Brand Leader in Europe and with all of their expertise they have produced a range Swimming Pool Heat Pumps that fit the UK market perfectly with a price that cannot be matched on a heat pump of the same specification.

The RA heat Pumps have digital controls, can be plumbed either side and have a Corrosion-Free ABS housing that will last for many years.

The DPL Heat Pump RA Range, with its side mounted Fan, is not only suitable for installing outdoors but can also be housed indoors, under decking or below a terrace or balcony if the ventilation permits. Next day delivery and an installation service is available on these heaters.

 Q. How does a DPL heat pump work?

A. A DPL Heat Pump does not create heat, but rather it moves heat from one place to another. Your refrigerator is a heat pump that moves warm air from inside the unit to outside making inside the unit colder. A DPL Heat Pump removes heat from the outside air and transfers it to your swimming pool

Q. How much can I save?

A. Most of the time the unit is moving heat -not creating it, so the only electricity being used is to run the compressor and fans. For every £1 you spend running the Heat Pump with a C.O.P. of 5 it will transfer up to £5.00 worth of heat into your pool

Q. How are DPL Heat Pumps configured?

A. The DPL Heat Pump itself is installed outside, near your swimming pool, then connected in-line through the pump and filtration to your pool.

Q. Are Competition Heat Pumps expensive?

A. They are similar in cost to a gas heater but their running costs are massively less. Installing a DPL Heat Pump will save you money almost from Day One.

Q. Will I Still Need A Solar Cover On My Swimming Pool?

A. To heat a swimming pool effectively with a Heat Pump you must have some form of heat retention cover on your swimming pool, whether that is a solar cover, Solar Sun Rings or a Heat Retention Cover if indoors.
