Summerlong Algicide is a slow release, extremely economical Algicide used in the extended control of Algae in above ground or inground swimming pools. A 2 litre dose is sufficient to control Algae for up to 6 months in a 50 cubic metre (11,000 gallon) swimming pool.
Summerlong is a very pH sensitive chemical and should only be used on pools when they are at the perfect pH reading of 7.2 - 7.6 to work with maximum effect. When adding this chemical to your Swimming Pool water make sure your circulation system is running. Once SummerLong has been added do not add chlorine or any other chemical for 24hours.
SummerLong can be used on both 'Chorinated' and 'Brominated' Swimming Pools but not on Swimming Pools using 'Revacil' or 'Baqualcil'
