PTFE Sealing Tape

Polytetrafluoroethylene - Also know as Teflon tape is mostly used for making threads water tight seal. PTFE Tape is wrapped around the exposed thread before it is screwed into place. One of the great advantages of using PTFE (Teflon) tape is how good it is at defecting friction and performs a lubricating function.

Swimming pool PTFE Sealing Tape ensuring threaded seals are water-tight. Wrap around the thread with a minimum 50% overlap. PTFE Tape is a very thin white tape used to wrap the threaded ends of pipe to lubricate the threads and improve the watertightness of the joint.
