At World of Pools we test as many Robotic Pool Cleaners as we are able to, we run our tests in our shop show pools and when our engineers are on swimming pool maintenance jobs. Our opinion of the Nitro Robotic Pool Cleaner is that it is a compact cleaner that performs to a high standard. Lighter than most Robotic Pool Cleaners, which means that you will not struggle pulling the cleaner out of your Swimming Pool. The Nitro works faster than most we test and unlike some of the more expensive cleaners does not get tangled up in its own power cable.

The Nitro Pool Cleaner will clean the floor, including corners and edges, which is ideal as that is where most debris ends up. The Standard Nitro will attempt to climb the pool wall but will not properly climb the wall and has not been deigned for that purpose. Although wall climbing and tileband cleaning are nice features we feel that the main purpose of the Pool Cleaner is the floor and the Nitro performs this task very well. The Nitro pool cleaner is more energy efficient than most other types of cleaner we have tested and the manufactures state that it uses 70% less energy than other systems.

We encounter very few faults in general with Robotic Pool Cleaners but when a replacement part is needed spares can be expensive on some types of cleaner, but we have found that the Nitro spare parts are very good value.

We hold the Nitro Robotic Pool Cleaner in stock and can normally deliver on a next working day service. The option on the Caddy is new, this was always included with the Nitro but now it is an additional add-on. The caddy is a nice option as it keeps the unit together with the power cord properly wrapped up and it is easy to get the cleaner pool side although as previously mentioned the Nitro Pool Cleaner is light so can easily be hand carried.

Our Opinion: The Nitro is very good value compared to other more expensive systems, lightweight and easy to manage, fast at cleaning the pool floor area. The Standard Nitro does not climb pool walls or clean tileband but we feel that this does make a material diefference.
