Intex Filters

Intex Filters for intex Easy set pools and Metal Frame pools will help prevent algae growth in your pool and will keep you pool sparkling clean throughout the season. They should be changed on a regular basis when pool is in use. When dirty they can be cleaned by soaking the filter cartridges in a cartridge cleaner for 24 hours and rinsed off, this can only be done once to each filter as paper fabric material cells becomes blocked and the flow of water is restricted through the core of the filter.

At World of Pools we only supply Intex branded filters, when buying a filter a way of choosing a good one from a bad one is simple? It’s mainly the core inside, Intex filter cores allow the easy flow of water through the entire cartridge which increases filtration and makes it easier for the pump, increasing the lifespan of your pump as well as making it quieter. It does this by simply having a core grid for the water to pass through, unlike imitation filters which use PVC pipe with holes drilled in them.  

On an Intex pool we would recommend you changed the filter fortnightly! If the filter cartridge is just not for you then we can also provide an Intex sand filter. The Intex sand filter gives a far better water clarity than a filter cartridge and the sand media doesn’t need to be changed every two weeks. In fact it only needs to be changed every 5 to 7 years.
